MID-PENN REPORT 5/6

TRINITY 14 CENTRAL YORK 7
The Shamrocks finish with back to back 14 win seasons as they beat Central York at home. A slow start saw Trinity turn it on in the 2nd quarter and take an 8-2 lead. a 5-2 run in the third put the game out of reach where they lead 13-4. Big game for Junior Jesse Altmeyer as he finished with 3 goals and 4 assists. He will end the season one assist short of the league lead. As of now Trinity looks to be playing West York in the first road of the District Playoffs. This would a be rematch of their district opener last spring where they lost 11-9.

NORTHERN 11 SOUTHWESTERN 5
Polar Bears win to close out their spring and finish 6-11. Knotted at 4-4 by the half Northern took over in the 3rd quarter going on a 4-0 run and then icing the game in the 4th outscoring the Mustangs 7-1 in the second half. Big game for Andrew Sade who had 6 goals and 2 assists.

SPRING GROVE 15 MECHANICSBURG 5
Interesting final game for the Wildcats as they were only able to play 3 quarters down in York as the game was ended due to events on the field. Jack Moyer had a great game with 4 goals. Mechanicsburg will end the season 4-12. Spring Grove has an excellent turn around down the stretch winning 4 in a row to finish 7-10.
