CUMBERLAND VALLEY NAMES NEW HEAD COACH MATT HEALEY

Coming off a record year for the program Cumberland Valley saw long time Coach AJ Bogacyzk step down. Bogaczyk had been the Head Coach for the past 5 seasons and with the team coaching for the past 10. Defensive Coordinator Sean Ireland also resigned. Coach Matt Healey has been named their new head coach for the 2016 season.

Coach Healey has been a prominent coach in the area the past 5 season at the high school levels and will look to keep the Eagles as one of the leaders in the Mid-Penn. His high school start came at Trinity where he was the offensive-coordinator for three seasons where they were able to make the district playoffs twice. After a season with Central Dauphin youth he took the Head Coaches position with the JV team at CV. A former player for Villa Julie (Stevenson University) Healey brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position.

"This is truly an honor and a goal that I been working hard to achieve for a long time." Said Healey. "In my opinion, the CV lacrosse family is a premier opportunity within the Central PA area and I have high expectation for our program."
