A lot of times when we hear talk of growing the game it usually with a focus on growing a certain team or program in a given area where lacrosse is readily available. Proper D Lacrosse, run by Trinity Coach DJ Healey, has taken on the true meaning of Growing The Game by running a clinic at Camp Curtin YMCA in Harrisburg.
Proper D meets with young players twice a week to introduce them to the sport and give back to the community.
We had the opportunity to join them for their first session and it was absolutely fantastic to see how excited and eager these young players were to learn about lacrosse.
