MID-PENN REPORT 4/1

Wild night in the Mid-Penn with three games all being won by one goal!

CUMBERLAND VALLEY 8 CARLISLE 7
A big match up that did not disappoint. Carlisle's third one goal game did not fall in their favor as they fall to 2-1. A wild finish saw the Herd up 7-6 with under a minute to play. CV looked to have the tying score with less than minute but it was waved off due to a crease violation. Off a turnover Jeff Hamlin found the needed score for the Eagles with just 20 seconds remaining. John Miller won the ensuing faceoff and was able to score 7 seconds later for the 8-7 win. Stevie Peters would lead the Eagles and all scorers with 4 goals.

TRINITY 10 LOWER DAUPHIN 9 (OT)
The fourth one goal lost for the Falcons (1-4) is a trend they want to see stop ASAP. Trailing 8-6 at the end of the third quarter LD was able to knot things up at 9 headed into over time. Mark Mandack would score the winning goal for the Shamrocks in sudden victory. Garrett Schug would lead the Falcons with 3 goal on the night.

CENTRAL DAUPHIN 7 BISHOP MCDEVITT 6
CD got the early jump out scoring McDevitt 5-0 in the first quarter. The Crusaders battled back with solid defense and persistent offense but would be unable to fine the evening score in the final minutes. Nick Lokitis would lead the Crusaders with 3 goals and 1 assist who have now lost three games by 1 goal a piece (0-4). For the Rams Chris Martin and Ryan Sotzin each scored 2 goals on the night.
