MID-PENN PREVIEW - LOWER DAUPHIN

LOWER DAUPHIN FALCONS
Keystone Division
Head Coach Rich Vickroy
Overall Record: 7-9   Mid-Penn Record: 5-7

Coach Vickroy took a major step forward with his Falcon team in his second season utilizing speed an athleticism to move Lower Dauphin up the Mid-Penn ranks. After a disappointing first season 4-12 first season as Head Coach Vickroy was able to turn around his squad with key victories over State College and Chambersburg. They will look to continue to build on that momentum for the upcoming 2015 season.

The first order of business in continuing to win is replacing Mike Mattis (30 goals, 6 assists) who is now playing at Frostburg. Albert Gremmel (17,2) and Weston Miller (12,7) also graduated.

That is the bad news. The good news is Mattis' younger brother Nick (Frostburg State) enters his senior season as a stand out defender along with Junior goalie keeper Justin Guevarez who looks to be one of the best in the Mid-Penn. They also have back number two goal scorer Garret Schug (22,2) who is a Junior.

With the returning players who were all heavily involved on both sides of the ball in 2014 Lower Dauphin is poised to take another big step forward this spring.
