CUMBERLAND VALLEY (12-0) AT CENTRAL DAUPHIN (6-6)
The Eagles look to continue their great season on the road against the Rams. CV has outscored their opponents 79-25 in their last 5 games. With a number of offensive weapons and a tough defense they will be difficult to contain. The Rams have a solid defense of their own and Damien Koussis is having a very good spring on attack. CD has dropped four of their last six games but if they can pull off the upset Thursday night that would put a very different look on their season and chances for the District III playoffs.
PALMYRA (5-7) AT HERSHEY (12-0)
The Cougars have won three straight games outscoring the competition 34-13. They will aim to keep that momentum going as they travel to Hershey to face a Trojans team that has looked unstoppable all spring. Brook Briggs and Jake Wilson will again be the names to watch for Hershey. Palmyra's Tyler Gallagher should make the day difficult for them and will need Trevor Frye and Ethan Gain to keep pace on the offensive end.
CHAMBERSBURG (4-6) AT STATE COLLEGE (6-5)
Chamberbsurg bounced back from two difficult losses to Cumberland Valley and Carlisle Wednesday night with a 13-6 victory over Northern York at home. The short turn around and long road trip will be a challenge they need to over come. Look for Jake Pierson and Grant Swisher to continue to be featured in the stat book. Brady Franks and the Little Lions saw their three game win streak come to end out of conference to Bishop Shannon (8-4) but have gotten some rest and should be ready to go. State College has had some difficult one goal losses (CV & Carlisle) otherwise they would be right in the thick of it for the Commonwealth Division.
MORE GAMES AFTER THE BREAK
MECHANICSBURG (4-8) AT TRINITY (8-3)
The Wildcats are coming off back to back wins in which they outscored the opposing team 32-3. A program that appears to be on the rise will take on a perennial power in Trinity on the road. The Shamrocks are having a good spring and will be looking to return to form after a difficult 14-8 loss on the road to out of conference opponent Manheim Township. Trinity has a variety of weapons with Jesse Altmeyer being an excellent scorer and distributor.
BISHOP MCDEVITT (2-9) AT CARLISLE (7-3)
After a rocky start with some very close games the Thundering Herd seems to have gotten things in order with back to back wins and will face a struggling Crusader team at home. Carlisle needs to continue to win to keep a firm grasp on their District III playoff chances. For McDevitt some close losses early have given way to injuries and tough sledding as they are on a 4 game skid. They will look to regroup and continue to improve.
LOWER DAUPHIN (6-6) AT CD EAST (0-11)
The Falcons are a dangerous team and after leading Hershey 3-2 at the end of the first quarter they will want to get the sting of that 16-6 loss out of their system quickly. Garrett Shug and Michael Yarrish should get back on track on the road at CD East.
