MID-PENN REPORT 4/21


PALMYRA 9 CENTRAL DAUPHIN 4
Palmyra wins their first game against CD in 5 years. The Cougars have now won three straight and seem to be recovering from a rocky start. Palmyra got a 3-0 in the first quarter and was able to maintain space the rest of the way. Leading 5-2 at the half and then 7-3 at the end of the third. Six different players would find the back of the net for the Cougars led by Eric Thomas with 2 goals and 2 assists. Damien Koussis would was a bright spot for CD with 3 goals.

HERSHEY 16 LOWER DAUPHIN 6
Hershey moves to 12-0 with another dominant Mid-Penn win and a 4 game lead in the Keystone Division. Lower Dauphin had the 3-2 lead at the end of the 1st quarter when the Trojans took the game over with a 7-0 run in the 2nd frame. LD could not recover. Brook Briggs continues to score and distribute (3 goals, 5 assists) with Michael Gadd also stepping into the spot light (3 goals, 3 assists). Next week (4/28) Hershey will play at CV for what will be the biggest Mid-Penn regular season game of the season.

MANHEIM TOWNSHIP 14 TRINITY 8
Manheim jumped out early to a 6-1 lead in the 1st quarter. The Shamrocks battled back to bring the score to 8-4 at the half but the Blue Streaks would find seperation in the 3rd quarter going up 12-6. Kevin Curcio would lead all scorers with 5 goals while Mark Mandack would have 4 of his own for Trinity.

CARLISLE 13 ELIZABETHTOWN 8
The Herd moves to 7-3 with a convincing win over E-Town and is right in the middle of the District III playoff hunt. Drew Amsley has a big night with 3 goals and 4 assists for the Herd. With the score 7-4 at the half Carlisle erupted for 4 unanswered goals in the 3rd quarter and a 11-4 lead.

CUMBERLAND VALLEY 18 BISHOP MCDEVITT 1
The Eagles had little trouble getting to 12-0 against a depleted McDevitt squad. A 9-0 first quarter got CV out in front and they never looked back. They had 9 different players score goals with 7 of them finding the back of the net multiple times. CV travels to Central Dauphin Thursday night.

MECHANICSBURG 13 CD EAST 0
Back to back wins for the Wildcats moves them to 4-8 on the season. They head to Trinity on Thursday.
