MID PENN PREVIEW - 3/26/14

CD EAST at HERSHEY (4:15pm)
* This game was rescheduled to tonight from 3/25/14 due to winter weather conditions
- If CD East is looking to turn things around what better time then on the road at Hershey... The odds of that happening don't seem to be in their favor though. At 0-1 after a 22-2 loss to Red Lion the Panthers will have their hands full with Hershey. Senior Will Gingrich has been a consistent bright spot for East over the years. The Trojans have a lot of different ways they can hurt you and from all accounts they are highly motivated to come back this year and reclaim the Mid Penn title. In their lone game they beat Elizabethtown 18-2 with TWELVE different players finding the back of the net!

BISHOP MCDEVITT at NORTHERN YORK (7:30pm)
- The Crusaders come into this bought at 0-2 after a tough OT loss in their opener and another defeat in a back-to-back opening schedule. Nick Suknaic and Cole Bevan lead their offensive attack with 3 goals each and 7 total players have found the back of the net this season so far. Caoch Walter will no doubt be looking for a multitude of scorers to step up in this one.
Northern is coming off an OT victory, 9-8, over Lower Dauphin last night and looks to get their third straight win to start the season. Coach Miller and senior Luke Lynes were able to get the Polar Bears their first Mid Penn win of the season last night and being able to win back to back Mid Penn games in a blustery late March would go a long way in showing how good and tough this 2014 Northern program is.
