MID PENN PREVIEW 3/28

MOUNT LEBANON at CARLISLE (6:00pm)
- Carlisle is off to a great 2-0 start outscoring the competition 32-5. Coach Kidder appears to have gotten his team ready to go this off season with their trade mark defense and great offensive production. George Faller leads the Herd with 11 goals and is followed by Max Breschi's 5 with 8 assists.
Mt Lebanon is 2-0 on the season beating Epharta and North Allegheny. They have outscored the competition 18-13 on the season. This squad looks to be legit with two difficult wins (N Allegheny has a top 10 power ranking on laxpower.com). This should be a very interesting game and test for the Thundering Herd. Kudos to them for scheduling difficult out of conference opponents and challenging themselves to get better in anticipation of a district and possible state playoff run.

HERSHEY at CONRAD WEISER (4:00pm)
- Hershey is 3-0 on the young season and has outscored their opponents 37-6 on the young season. Logan Calhoun leads the Trojans with 10 goals on the year, followed by Jake Wilson's 9. Perhaps the most impressive statistic is they 15 players who have scored through those three games. We do not have any statistical information or scores for Conrad Weiser at this time, they were to play Exeter Township last night but we do not have any information on their opening game.

ELIZABETHTOWN at CENTRAL DAUPHIN (7:00pm)
- CD is coming off a tough loss last night and needs to regroup quickly for tonight's out of conference game. The good news is E-Town is 0-4 with 11 total goals threw 4 games. Common opponent Hershey beat them 12-2 in their opener, so this should be a winnable game for the Rams and nice bounce back opportunity. Junior Gage Bootay leads Elizabethtown with 6 of their 11 goals on the season. Look for Nate Beard, Carson Wolford, and Eli Hudson to get the scoring back on track for the Rams in this one.
