MID PENN PREVIEW - 3/29/14

CHAMBERSBURG at ST JAMES (11:30am)
- The Trojans and Nick Lombardozzi will head to Maryland to take on St James in their second game of the season. After a 14-8 win over State College this team could be  better than anyone expected a few weeks ago.

DALLAS at CUMBERLAND VALLEY (12:30pm)
- CV bounced back from their loss to Trinity in their 2014 opener by beating Palmyra 6-5 in a tough game. The Eagles defense is legit. The big question is if Coach Bogazyck can find some go to offensive weapons. Each game will be telling on this and how far CV go.

BISHOP MCDEVITT at NORTHERN YORK (3:30pm)
- Rescheduled from Wednesday this is our lone inter-league game. Coach Walter's crusaders are still looking for answers to replace last years seniors after suffering two difficult opening losses.
Coach Miller and Northern are positioning themselves as a potential surprise team at 2-0 after victories against Susquehannock and Lower Dauphin. Martich and Lyons (if healthy) should be factors.

STATE COLLEGE at FRANKLIN REGIONAL (4:00pm)
- The Little Lions are 1-1 after a tough road loss to Chambersburg. Look for Brady Franks and crew to rebound on the road in the late game Saturday.

YORK SUBURBAN at MECHANICSBURG (10:00am)
- Wildcats look to bounce back after a 7-2 loss to State College on Tuesday. They'll need more offensive production to match Joe Beckers great work in the net for their defense. York Suburban is coming off a 10-9 win over Spring Grove and should be ready to go on the road.
