MID PENN REPORT - 4/3/14

MECHANICSBURG 8 (2-2) CD EAST 3 (0-5)
- CD East was coming off a very difficult contest with State College where they went on the road and loss 20-1. The Panthers had little time regroup as they had a back to back to with the Wildcats last night. East fought hard in their closest contest of the year but struggled to find the net early.
Senior Aaron Heisey started the night off for Mechanicsburg and never stopped. Scoring 5 goals he led the offensive attack. Senior midfielder Eddie Martin followed with a pair of his own, while senior attackman Adam Fennel had 1 goal with a pair of assists. Sophmore Liam Darr had his first start in the cage and made seven saves, all in the first half. Sophomore stand out Reagan Pritchett had a great game on close defense regularly stripping the ball and clearing by himself. Chrisitian Hess did everything he could to keep the Panthers in the game scoring 2 goals, but the Wildcats locked in on him with early slides in the 2nd half.
Next up for Mechanicsburg is an out of conference game with Eastern York on Friday. The Panthers get some time to rest up and will travel to Chambersburg next week.
