6 SHOOTING MECHANIC TIPS

FROM USLACROSSE.ORG

After leading all midfielders with 35 goals in his first MLL season, Peter Baum joined Paul Rabil and Jeremy Sieverts on the 2014 All-MLL Team. The 2012 Tewaaraton Award winner while at Colgate, Baum was the only MLL player to score at least one goal in every regular season game this season.
Here are six tips from Peter on shooting mechanics, brought to you in slow motion by The Lacrosse Network.

1. Eyes on your target

2. Body square to the cage

3. Arms extended

4. Plant your feet

5. Power from your legs

6. End with shoulders facing your target
