MID-PENN REPORT 3/24



Carlisle 8 Lower Dauphin 7
LD jumped out to a 3-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Carlisle answered with a 4 goal run to make it 4-3 Herd at the half. Carlisle would continue scoring to move it 8-5 at the end of the third and hold on for the 8-7 victory. LD Junior Brennan Foster bursts onto the MP lacrosse scene with 4 goals on the night. Drew Amsley led Carlisle with three scores of his own.

Trinity 9 CD 5
 CD lead 5-1 in the second quarter as Trinity would go on to out score the Rams 8-0 in the rest of the way for the come from behind victory. Mark Hergenroder returns after missing last season to lead the rocks with 3 goals and 3 assists. Damien Koussis led the Rams scoring effort with 3 goals and 2 assists.

Cumberland Valley 9 Palmyra 3
 CV got going early and never looked back. Leading 5-1 at the end of the first the Eagles seemed to have the Cougars under control all afternoon. Seniors Rod Jamieson and John Miller lead all scorers with 3 goals each.

Hershey 14 State College 6
 With the score 2-2 at the end of the first quarter the Trojans pulled away scoring 7 unanswered goals. State College tried to fight back but couldn't make up the necessary ground. Brady Franks led the Little Lions with 3 goals. Jake Wilson scored 7 goals while Brook Briggs managed 1 goal and 5 assists.

Chambersburg 9 Bishop McDevitt 8
The Crusaders led 6-3 at the half and were up 7-3 with less than 4 minutes to play in the third. Chambersburg came on strong in the 4th quarter. Collin Bricker tied things up with 43 seconds remaining as Grant Swisher hit the game winner moments later. Griffin Hanes led McDevitt with 5 goals while Jake Pierson had 2 for Chambersburg.

Northern York 19 CD East 0
 Northern bounces back after Tuesdays difficult 13-11 loss to Spring Grove. The Polar Bears led 9-0 at the end of the first half an never looked back.
