MID-PENN REPORT 4/17

CUMBERLAND VALLEY 15 SUSQUEHANNOCK 8
Eagles take care of business out of conference with 5 multi-goal scorers on the night led by Stevie Peters with 4. The Eagles got out to a 4-1 lead at the end of the first quarter which they were able to extend to 10-3 by halftime. That would be enough space for them to get the win as things were even in the 2nd half 5-5. Cumberland Valley has now started the season with 10 straight wins (besting there 5-0 start in 2012) and seems locked in on competing for the Mid-Penn and District III.

PALMYRA 14 CEDAR CREST 7
The Cougars have back to back wins in impressive fashion as they take a lot of momentum into next week and their clash with Keystone opponent CD (4/21). Palmyra continued to spread the ball around with 8 different goal scores led by Eric Thomas (4 goals, 1 assist). Palmyra scored early and often going up 5-2 at the end of the 1st quarter and then opening the gap at halftime to 8-4. They would put the game out of reach in the 3rd with a 12-5 lead.
