NORTHERN YORK 9 WEST YORK 8
The Polar Bears come up with the huge upset over West York and hands them only there second loss of the season. Northern moves to 3-7 with what could be a season turning victory. Trailing 1-0 at the end of the first Northern battled back and took a 4-2 lead. The score again flipped in the 3rd quarter with going on a 5-1 run and leading 7-5. Excellent resolve by Coach Miller's squad to make the late run and reclaim the lead/victory. Andrew Sade led the way with 4 goals on the night.
CENTRAL DAUPHIN 14 CEDAR CREST 8
A tough game for the Rams on Saturday. They led at the end of the first 4-1 but things got tight at the end of the half as their lead shrunk to 6-5. A dominant second half got them the victory and keeps them above .500 at 6-5. Big day for Damien Koussis on attack with 6 goals and 3 assists.
MECHANICSBURG 19 DANVILLE 3
Mechanicsburg snaps a 4 game skid for their 3rd win of the season (3-8) with a blowout of Danville. Big win for the Wildcat program as they look to move things forward. A new alltime high scoring mark (previous mark was 16 in 2009) as well. They'll look to carry the momentum forward with games against CD East and Trinity next week.
TRINITY 23 YORK CATHOLIC 12
Relative to the final score things were tight at the half (Trinity led 10-6) when the Shamrocks errupted to go on an 11-1 run in the 3rd quarter alone and and seal up the victory. Jam packed state book for the Rocks with Steve Hergenroeder (5 goals, 3 assists), Bredan Tribeck (5 goals, 3 assists), and Mark Hergenroeder (5 goals, 2 assists) leading the way on a night that saw 5 players with 3 goals or more. 23 goals is the all-time scoring mark for the Trinity program besting last season's 19.
CUMBERLAND VALLEY 16 AT DALLAS 4
The Eagles continue to roll, now 11-0, with a dominant out of conference win. 11 different players scored for Cumberland Valley with Sophomore Devon Heckman having a fantastic afternoon with 5 goals and 2 assists (14 scores in his last 4 games).
HERSHEY 15 EMMAUS 6
Emmaus tried to keep things close only trailing 5-3 at the end of the 1st quarter when Hershey would go on a 9-3 run in the middle frames. Brook Briggs led the way with 3 goals and 3 assists as he continues to be a dominant scorer and distributor.
SOUTHWESTERN 13 BISHOP MCDEVITT 3
The Crusaders were missing key players and fell behind early on to the Mustangs 11-1 at the half. Not able to make up the points difference this became a tough road trip as they fall to 2-8 with CV on the road this Tuesday.
BISHOP SHANNON 8 STATE COLLEGE 4
Led by Andy Wanger (5 goals, 1 assist) Bishop Shannon was in control of this game through out the afternoon. The opening quarter 3-0 lead would hold at 6-3 by halftime. At the end of the 3rd quarter Shannon led 8-3 and their defense proved to be to much for the Little Lions.
