MID-PENN REPORT 4/6



CARLISLE 11 NORTHERN YORK 10
Carlisle would get the first scores ending the first quarter up 4-1. Northern York dug and fought back to get the lead and extended it to 10-7 with less than 8 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. The Herd came storming back to score 4 unanswered goals, get the win, and perhaps keep their Commonwealth division hopes alive. Carlisle would find the game winner with just 12 seconds left and their 3rd one goal victory to move to 4-1 (4 of their games being decided by one score). Big night for Andrew Sade with 4 goals and 3 assists for Northern.

HERSHEY 14 TRINITY 9
The Trojans will move to 4-0 handing the Shamrocks their first loss of the season. Trinity by far been Hershey's toughest test headed towards the mid-season. Hershey got early to 6-2 lead which Trinity was able to cut to 7-4 by the half. Extending their lead to 9-5 headed into the fourth the Trojans were able to continue to score and get the victory 14-9. Another big night for Jason Wilson with 6 goals while Brook Briggs managed 2 goals and 3 assists. For Trinity 7 different players were able to score with Steve Hergenroeder leading the way with 3 goals and 2 assists.

PALMYRA 12 GARDEN SPOT 3
The Cougars get their first win of the season in convincing fashion. They took a first quarter 401 lead an extended it to 11-1 at the end of the third quarter. Trevor Frye looks to be back and ready to lead with another 3 goal night. Pete Robinson, Joey Giordano, and Eric Thomas had 2 scores each. Nick Sherriff continued his strong play with 10 saves.
