MID-PENN REPORT 4/7


CUMBERLAND VALLEY 5 AT STATE COLLEGE 4
In a low scoring defensive battle CV survives the long road trip to remain undefeated and move to 6-0. State College will get some well deserved attention after pushing the Eagles the distance as they fall to 3-3. Cumberland Valley took the early lead at 3-0 at the end of the first when State College battled back to make it 3-2 at the half. The third would end 5-4 with CV in front and a scoreless final frame would allow CV to get the win. John Miller had to scores for the Eagles. 

CENTRAL DAUPHIN 9 MECHANICSBURG 4
A tight game at the half saw the Rams with a 4-3 lead. They were able to outscore the Wildcats 5-1 down the stretch to move to 4-2. Damien Koussis led all scores with 3 goals on the afternoon. The Wildcats seem to be moving in the right direction against a very good CD team.

TRINITY 9 PALMYRA 6
A close first half saw the visiting Cougars with a 5-4 lead. The Shamrocks were able to regain control of the game in third outscoring Palmyra 4-1 and then finding the games loan 4th quarter goal. Austin Bailey would have a huge night in the net for Trinity with 16 saves while Mark Hergenroeder and Jesse Altmeyer would lead the scoring with 4 goals each. Pete Robinson led Palmyra with a 3 goal performance.

MORE AFTER THE BREAK

LOWER DAUPHIN 17 CHAMBERSBURG 8
The Falcons storm to 3-4 with a convincing win over the Trojans. LD had the first quarter lead at 5-3 which they were able to extend to 10-6 by halftime. The game would be put away by the end of the third quarter with LD up 15-8. Massive night for Kevin Beaver with 4 goals and 2 assists as well as Garrett Schug who continues his production with 3 goals for the Falcons. 

HERSHEY 14 BISHOP MCDEVITT 1
The Trojans got out early and often in the first two frames going 5-0 both quarters for a 10-0 lead against a Crusaders team that had trouble getting to the offensive end all afternoon. Ten different players found the back net for Hershey, led by Joe Olives (3 goals) as they move to 5-0.
