(2) CUMBERLAND VALLEY (17-2) VS (10) WEST YORK (15-3)
5:00pm at Lower Dauphin Middle School

The Eagles look to continue their run in post season play against a strong Bulldogs teams. A big name to know for West York is Hunter Betz a 2 Time YAIAA athelete of the week and first team YAIAA all-star attack-man. Cole Rinehart will also be a major factor in the cage. If he plays as well as he did vs Trinity (23 saves) West York will be in a position to pull off another upset. For the Eagles midfielder and Mid-Penn player of the year John Miller should continue to be all over the field and in the stats. Look for Stevie Peters and Rod Jamieson to be heavily involved on attack. John Tartline and Thomas Arentz anchor and excellent defensive group with Nic Brown in the net.

Both squads have had several mutual opponents with different results. Susquehannock split their series with West York, winning 14-6 and the losing 16-7, while they lost their lone game with CV 15-8. Against Northern York CV won 13-1 while WY lost 9-8. Hershey defeated both teams, WY 19-3, and CV 9-8 and 11-6 in the MPC. Both teams beat Bishop McDevitt, West York 14-5 and CV 18-1. Against Trinity CV won 12-11 and West York won 9-7.

(1) HERSHEY (20-0) VS (8) WILSON (17-4)
7:00pm at Lower Dauphin Middle School

A rematch of last seasons District III Playoff Semi-Final game where the Bulldogs came away victorious 10-8. These two teams played once during the regular season (4/25) at Hershey with the Trojans winning 10-6.  Jake Wilson had a huge game for Hershey in that one with 6 goals on the day. Wilson led at the end of one 3-2 but it would be the Trojans steadily pulling away from there as they went up 5-4 at the half and then 8-6 headed into the fourth. Jake Gehman would lead Wilson with 2 goals and 2 assists on a day where the Trojan defense had everything under control.

After their head to head meeting back in April they have one mutual opponent in Parkland. Both teams got wins there, Wilson 7-4 on 3/28 and Hershey 10-4 on 4/11. Hershey is on a historic run at 20-0 and will be looking to avenge last seasons playoff loss at a home field like LD Middle School location. Wilson knows what it is like to see a perfect season come to an end in the D3 playoffs as their first loss of the  2014 season came in the championship game to Carlisle.
