The Eagles got out to the early 2-0 lead and then opened things up in the second quarter agianst the Bulldogs to take a commanding 7-1 lead into the half. West York worked to fight back winning the third quarter 3-2 to make the score 9-4 but CV would again assert itself if the 4th going on a 5-0 run to seal the game. CJ Sherlock led all goal scorers with 4 while Stevie Peters had 3 goals and 3 assists on the night. Devyn Roehm led West York with 2 goals. Up next for CV is 3 seed Hempfieldwho is 18-3 on the season. They will play Tuesday (5/19) at Lower Dauphin Middle School at 7:00pm.

The Trojans came out hot dominanting early and getting a ton of good looks at the net. They were able to turn that into a 4-1 first quarter lead and looked to be in control. Wilson got a much needed second goal with 46 seconds in the quarter to bring the score to 4-2 at the end of the first. Things would slow down a bit in the second and Wilson would continue on their 4-0 run to bring the halftime score to 5-4 Bull Dogs and the game had a much different feel. Karl Van Blargen scored seconds in the start of the 3rd quarter with a right handed alley dodge to knot things up at 5-5. Both teams would go goal for goal bringing the score to 6-6 headed into the 4th. With exception of Ryan Closes go ahead goal for Wilson (7-6) the final frame would be all Trojans as they ended the night on a 5-0 run. Van Blargen would lead scorers with 4 goals, Briggs had 3, with Wilson and Olives scoring 2 each. Next up for Hershey is 4 seed Manheim Township who is 19-2 on the season. They will also play Tuesday at LDMS, faceoff is at 5:00pm.
