MID-PENN REPORT 4/2


CUMBERLAND VALLEY 13 NORTHERN YORK 1
CV showed no signs up a slow down following Wednesday nights big win over Carlisle as they jumped out early and often on the Polar bears taking a commanding 9-0 lead in the first quarter. The Eagles would pull back on offense while continuing to pressure on defense in route to a 13-1 victory and a 5-0 start. John Miller had a monster night with 4 goals and 1 assist. Fellow senior Rod Jamieson put in 3 goals with 1 assist.

STATE COLLEGE 11 PALMYRA 5
State College finds themselves with back to back big wins in the MP as they move to 3-2. A strong first quarter saw the Little Lions up 5-1 which they extended to 7-1 by the half. The Cougar's Tyller Gallaghet was able to neutralize Brady Franks (1 goal) while PJ Bachman (2 goals, 5 assists) and Will Harvey (3 goals) picked up the offense for State College.  Trevor Frye would lead Palmyra with 2 goals on the night.

CARLISLE 15 MECHANICSBURG 3
Carlisle also avoided a let down game by getting Drew Amsley (5 goals, 2 assists) and George Faller (4 goals) involved early and often against the Wildcats. Up 7-0 at the break the Herd finished the game off by extending their lead to 12-2 at the end of the third and moving to 3-1 on the early season. Mechanicsburg falls to 1-2 and Reagan Pritchett, who spends time at long-pole and midfielder, had his first score of the year.

CHAMBERSBURG 15 CD EAST 0
Chambersburg gets their second Mid-Penn win in dominating fashion over CD East. Grant Swisher led Chambersburg with 4 goals and 3 assists, Jake Pierson had 5 scores on the afternoon.
